Canvas paintings and hand-painted cards for people who love the slow, peaceful world of growing things.
Each card is hand-painted by Ariel, no two are exactly alike. These aren't printed cards with a generic design. They're tiny original works of art, made with real paint and real care.
Tell Ariel a little about the person you're celebrating, and she'll paint something that feels just right.
I paint because the natural world makes me feel still and full at the same time. A morning glory opening. The way moss grows on an old stone. A bird sitting quietly in the rain. There's so much beauty in the overlooked things.
I'm mostly a homebody, happiest with my hands in the garden or my brushes in the water. Every piece I make is something I genuinely loved making, and that care goes into every brushstroke.
My love for hand-painted cards came from my grandmother, who I called Nanny. She was a scrapbooker at heart, and she made the most beautiful handmade cards out of paper, stickers, and whatever she could find. Every card she gave felt like a little piece of art. She's the reason I believe a handmade card means something that a store-bought one never quite can. I like to think every card I make carries a little of her in it.
If you're here, I'm glad. Thank you for finding me.
Send a message about what you have in mind: a plant, a place, a color, a feeling. The more you share, the more personal the piece.
I'll send a photo before it ships. Custom paintings take 2–3 weeks; cards are usually ready in a week.
Carefully wrapped and packed with a little note from me. Ready to hang or to gift, exactly as you imagined it.
"I cried when I opened the package. Ariel painted my grandmother's garden from an old photo. It's the most precious thing I own."
"The birthday card was so beautiful that my friend framed it instead of throwing it away. That's never happened before with any card."
"I asked for 'something with ferns and a soft light' and what she sent me was exactly that. She just gets it."
Ariel is based in the Gulf Shores area and loves connecting with local customers, but shipping can absolutely be worked out too. Just reach out and she'll figure out the best option for you.
Just send Ariel an email at airywillow@gmail.com and tell her the occasion, who it's for, and any colors or nature themes you love. She'll take it from there.
Yes! Ariel loves painting pets. Just know that her pet paintings are her own artistic take on your furry friend, full of personality and warmth, rather than a photorealistic portrait. Send a photo and see what she comes up with. Most people love it even more than they expected.
Cards are usually ready within a week. Canvas paintings typically take 2 to 3 weeks depending on size and complexity. Ariel will always give you a timeframe upfront.
Anywhere from small 5x7 pieces perfect for a shelf to larger statement canvases. If you have a specific size in mind, just ask and Ariel will let you know what's possible.
Absolutely. Palm trees, sunsets, your backyard garden, a favorite hiking spot, a beloved pet. If it means something to you, Ariel would love to paint it.
